You would do it for two weeks straight or until you get to your desired shade. There is a point where you might say to yourself, “Okay, my teeth are white enough and I don’t need to bleach them any further.” That might happen after four days, it might happen after a week, it might happen after two weeks, or you might not ever get to that desired shade for a number of reasons. Not everyone’s teeth bleach the same.
Some patients have tetracycline stains. Tetracycline staining is internal. The bleaching gel is only going to remove external stains. Coffee stains, tea stains, cigarette stains. Just after years and years of stains from foods and drinks and wine and those sorts of external stains. Not everyone is a candidate. It’s important to understand and look at the shade of the teeth to determine what the success might be for the bleaching.
