Introduction to Full-Scale Dental Care

A confident smile is about more than just teeth. It’s about balance, proportion, and how your features work together as a whole. At JJ Dental, BOTOX® and dermal fillers are offered as part of a more comprehensive approach to facial aesthetics. By understanding both smile design and facial anatomy, our team creates results that feel natural, refined, and aligned with your overall appearance.

We proudly care for patients from Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, Pompano Beach, and Pembroke Pines.

What Services Are Available Under One Roof?

JJ Dental offers a broad range of dental services that address nearly every aspect of oral health and smile aesthetics. By housing multiple areas of dentistry within a single practice, patients can receive comprehensive care without the inconvenience of traveling to multiple specialists.

Services available at JJ Dental may include:

  • Preventive dentistry, such as cleanings, exams, and digital imaging
  • Cosmetic dentistry, including teeth whitening, veneers, and smile makeovers
  • Restorative dentistry, such as crowns, bridges, root canals, and dental implants
  • Orthodontic treatments like clear aligners
  • Emergency dental care for urgent oral health concerns

Because the practice operates with a team of dentists, each bringing different strengths and areas of focus, patients benefit from collaborative care that addresses both immediate needs and long-term dental health.

What Are BOTOX® and Dermal Fillers?

BOTOX is a neuromodulator that temporarily relaxes targeted facial muscles responsible for expression lines, such as:

  • Forehead lines
  • Frown lines
  • Crow’s feet

Dermal fillers are gel-based injectables designed to restore volume and soften deeper lines that develop over time. Common treatment areas include:

  • Cheeks and midface
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Jawline
  • Lips

These treatments can be used individually or combined to create a customized, non-surgical facial refresh.

What Are the Benefits of Having Full-Scale Dental Care?

Receiving dental care from a practice that offers multiple services under one roof provides several important advantages for patients. Most notably, it simplifies the entire dental experience by reducing the need to coordinate among different offices, providers, and treatment plans.

Some of the key benefits include:

  • Convenience: Patients can schedule cleanings, cosmetic treatments, or restorative procedures in the same practice rather than traveling between multiple specialists.
  • Better Coordination of Care: When dentists collaborate within the same office, treatment plans can be designed more efficiently and adjusted when needed, improving long-term results.
  • Continuity and Comfort: Patients build relationships with the same dental team, creating a more comfortable and familiar environment for ongoing care.
  • Faster Treatment Planning: Because the providers communicate internally, patients often receive quicker diagnoses, consultations, and scheduling for recommended treatments.

Overall, this comprehensive approach allows patients to maintain their oral health while enjoying a more seamless and efficient dental experience.

A More Complete Approach to Aesthetics

What makes aesthetic treatment at JJ Dental different is the perspective. Rather than treating isolated areas, our team evaluates facial structure, muscle movement, and smile dynamics together. This allows for results that complement your natural features rather than change them.

The goal is simple: subtle, balanced enhancements that feel like you.

What to Expect on the Day of Treatment

Treatment begins with a consultation where we discuss your goals and evaluate your facial anatomy.

On the day of your appointment, injections are performed according to your personalized treatment plan. Appointments are typically brief, and most patients return to their normal routine shortly after.

Results develop gradually depending on the treatment, with follow-up guidance provided as needed.

Recovery

Recovery after dental treatment varies depending on the type of procedure performed. Routine preventive visits, such as cleanings, generally require no downtime, allowing patients to return to their daily activities immediately.

More advanced procedures, such as restorative treatments or dental implant placement, may involve short recovery periods during which patients follow specific aftercare instructions. These instructions may include temporary dietary adjustments, oral hygiene recommendations, and follow-up visits to monitor healing.

The JJ Dental team provides detailed guidance after each procedure to ensure patients recover comfortably and maintain the best possible results.

The Cost of These Services

The cost of dental care in Fort Lauderdale and Pompano depends on several factors, including the type of treatment required, the complexity of the procedure, and whether multiple services are included in a treatment plan.

Preventive care appointments, such as exams and cleanings, may be partially or fully covered by dental insurance. Cosmetic and restorative procedures vary in cost depending on the materials used, treatment goals, and number of appointments required.

During your consultation, the team will review your recommended treatment plan and provide a detailed cost estimate so you can make informed decisions about your dental care.

Insurance & Financing

At JJ Dental, our insurance specialists deal directly with your insurance providers.

A thorough breakdown of your benefits enables us to provide the most accurate coverage estimate. Based on this information, we can provide you with a plan that maximizes your benefits and minimizes your out-of-pocket expenses. Once treatment begins, we will submit your insurance claims on your behalf to eliminate any hassle. (See Accepted Insurance)

While most insurance plans cover a large share of preventive and restorative care, they rarely cover cosmetic procedures. For any procedures not covered by your plan or beyond your plan’s maximum benefit, we accept several payment methods, including cash, checks, money orders, and major credit cards. We also offer flexible, no-interest monthly installment plans through Cherry, CareCredit, LendingClub, Alphaeon, and Sunbit, helping you get the treatment you need without a financial burden.
