How have Cosmetic Procedures changed the lives of your patients?

I’ve got a patient who sticks out in my mind. She came to me. She had neglected her teeth for a very, very long time, and she had broken down teeth, rotten teeth, gum disease. Her mouth was a mess. She came to me, and really, she had neglected her teeth because she had this terrible fear of dentists, surprise, surprise. (more…) […]

What does Comprehensive Dentistry cover?

Comprehensive dentistry doesn’t just involve the mouth. It also involves the Temporomandibular joint, or jawbone, as well as the nervous system of the head. I’ve got some patients who come to me with migraines, and I only get this information from them because it’s important to me to ask all the questions when they fill out their medical history. For some patients, I’ve fixed their migraine problem. They no longer have migraines, and the reason for that is because the nerves that supply the mouth also supply the temporalis, or the head. How can Cosmetic Dentistry change a person’s life?

It is important that you ask your Dentist for specific care instructions for your particular treatment. (more…) […]

Do you recommend a certain type of tooth paste?

Colgate Total I find to be the best for me. At the end of the day, just about any toothpaste on the market has the same ingredients, and those ingredients are highly effective. The technology today is, you’re really not going to find a toothpaste on the market that bad. You’re really not going to find a toothpaste that’s detrimental to your health, unless you have had an allergy to cinnamon or something and you buy cinnamon flavored toothpaste. Really, you can’t really go wrong. (more…) […]

How often do you attend conferences and continue your education?

At least once every month or every two months I take a refresher or workshop course. When I take the courses, I take full weekend courses, or sometimes monthly courses, where you’re going back multiple times with a given time frame. I’m constantly reading, and studying up, and staying in tune with what’s out there. (more…) […]

What should I do if I have a Dental Emergency after office hours?

You call the office, and the office will call me. Or the emergency call center will call me, and I’ll respond. I call the patient. Either prescribe pain medicine or antibiotics if it’s a patient of record, or I will just agree to either see them on the weekend, if I feel that it’s really that much of an emergency. (more…) […]
